Y OFFERS FREE MEALS TO KIDS DURING SCHOOL CLOSURES

1 in 7 children in the U.S. are fighting hunger. Because of COVID-19-related school closings, these kids are even more at risk. The DENNY PRICE FAMILY YMCA is stepping up during these times of uncertainty to ensure all kids have access to meals while maintaining social distance, even when school’s not in session.

Families with children ages 18 and under can pick up Grab & Go meals at the YMCA south parking lot in a drive thru setting, Monday – Friday from 3:00 – 4:30 pm.

The Y’s Food Program is part of a year-round effort to address child hunger. Last year, The Denny Price Family YMCA served 2700 meals/snacks to kids and teens here in Enid.

Together, we can make sure every child is safe, healthy and fed.

Mission Statement: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
